Highland plan
Though these plans were originally created for a custom home, if you would like to have a home like this, it is a simple operation to adapt the specifics to your needs and to your property.

This is the type of house that was designed for a couple who love to entertain! From the grand front elevation to the inspiring rear viewing porch, this home is all about visible space.

An arched stone entrance showcases the chandelier hanging above the curved staircase which leads your eye upward to a sky-bridge and vaulted two-story ceiling. The entrance is the kind that makes people say “Wow!”

One requirement for the plan was to capture the amazing view of the valley below, and we could do the same for your view. The great room features two-story windows to capture the beauty of the southern Willamette Valley. A bridge connects the curved staircase to the upper levels of both ends of the home.

The upstairs consistes of a bonus room above the master bedroom, a pair of bedrooms, and two more bonus rooms over the garage. The bridge was designed to be supported with a steel beam so it wouldn’t have any posts in the great room below, keeping the view open and airy.

The master suite has abundant windows to take in the view, and a roman-inspired bath with a large walk-in shower. The open kitchen was designed so that guests can congregate around the island without disrupting the kitchen space.

Adjacent to the kitchen and dining is a separate media room, with double doors to shut out any unwanted noise. The media room is placed in a separate room away from the main living space to keep noise at a minimum.

Outside the spacious laundry room is a private covered porch, perfect for a quiet getaway from the bustle of entertaining.

The three-bay garage provides lots of space for parking and toys.

It was a challenge to create an outdoor living space that did not compromise the view from within the great room, but we made it. The large two-story roof over the back deck provides shelter from weather, and still allows use of the many windows in the great room and dining area.

HighlandThe Kitchen design allows the homeowners to appreciate the view out the back of the home. The large island gives guests a place to congregate while keeping the working space of the kitchen clear of extra people.

HighlandCustom tile backsplash make this kitchen even more magnificant.

HighlandBacksplash behind the stove matches the one behind the sink.

HighlandThe bathroom design was roman-inspired, but the columns were never built. The large angled soaking tub remains the focal point.

HighlandThe large soaking tub may get all the applause in this master suite, but the double-shower does all the hard work.

HighlandThe bridge and staircase tie the 2nd floor together with the great room below.
